Highlights

Australian Visit

The spread of LRSS was given a huge boost in the year 2000 when the Director of LRSS in the USA, Cackie Uphurch embarked on a "missionary journey" to 4 Australian dioceses and our neighbouring country New Zealand.

We have huge distances to travel in this country and the Informational and Enrichment workshops she conducted in cities, regional centres and outback towns resulted in new groups being established.

The Rewards

In April this year we celebrated 8 years of officially distributing LRSS material.

Pope JP11 once said "By giving people the Bible you are giving them Jesus Christ Himself". This is our reward, the knowing that we are sharing Jesus with others and equipping and empowering them to share their faith.

We receive many letters and phone calls telling us of transformed lives as people have opened their hearts and minds to God?s Word. One that we have recently received says "I write to tell you of the enormous difference to my life that participating in the Scripture Study has made.

Through this whole contact with Little Rock it is as though the total of my life's experiences have fissioned together at a common point, the catalyst for change no doubt.

To now know the love of our Father, fully and richly for the first time, is the greatest of the gifts. It has changed the reason for the rest of my existence. The Study of Exodus brought a final freedom from the slaveries of many sins, the doubt, the fear and the guilt I had lived in since I was a young girl. "

She concludes "I hope to be able to bring all this into service for the Lord, to bring this Word to others, like myself, who need it. You are indeed building the kingdom so all can come. Thank you" Letters like this are our reward!!
